A friend commissioned a very NSFW Baphomet drawing from me and I promised on Instagram I would post it someplace for everyone to see in all its uncensored glory. Here it is!
If you want to commission me for dark/occult/witchy/botanical/anatomical/etc stuff, for your own kicks or for a band logo or anything in between, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For me, focus, intentional thinking, meditation, prayer, and mindfulness all translate to a clearer trajectory and more successful outcome for whatever task I'm grappling with. It's helped my mental health, my goal-setting, and focus.
My gem bag is like a reminder of the work I’m doing to help my mental health. The crystals make me feel empowered in a tangible way that sometimes is harder to gauge with lifestyle changes or medication.
In the Middle Ages, magical lapidaries -- texts on the qualities and powers of gems -- were very popular, particularly in France, Italy, and England. While there were other lapidaries that focussed more on the scientific properties, and others that focussed on Christian symbolism, the magical ones focussed on powers that different stones could imbue. These stones were powerful enough to protect the user from harm or even cure illness. Sound familiar?
